Quality of Life Approach As a quality service focused St. Louis, Missouri addiction treatment center for alcohol and drug abuse and dependency, our focus is person-centered. At our St. Louis addiction treatment center we understand that service is part of care and maintain a culture of accessibility, responsiveness, compassion, and adaptability. The MIA difference involves going beyond best practices regarding medical, psychiatric, and behavioral care and providing a culture of quality service that our clients find invaluable. At MIA, your addiction treatment experience is one that promotes recovery and well-being without forgetting client satisfaction. The MIA Difference The number one reason MIA has established its programs as some of the best in St. Louis goes beyond the quality of care we provide. What we do well, that many St. Louis rehabs do not, is remember that beyond our product (effective addiction treatment) there are service components to deliver. We pride ourselves for being more adaptable, accessible, responsive, and compassionate than any other program around. A Comprehensive Set of Solutions Our St. Louis addiction treatment program is a complete continuum of alcohol and drug treatment that starts with inpatient detox, transitions to intensive outpatient treatment, and then to aftercare and relapse prevention. Depending on each client's needs and preferences treatment may start anywhere along this continuum of care. Our St. Louis addiction treatment transitions care in both directions ensuring a malleable structure that can rapidly adapt to our client's needs.

I came to MIA after my third DUI in January. I have continued treatment here since that time. The staff here has been so incredibly supportive and caring. Kendra, the secretary is always encouraging every time I see her. You know she truly cares about the clients. The providers discuss things in a way that I understand which is important to me because I have learned so much about myself and alcoholism. I have recommended this facility to several close friends and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone that is questioning if they have an alcohol or drug addiction problem or who are seeking treatment. My life is changing in ways I felt may not be possible again. They truly care about changing lives and assist you in living a healthy life of sobriety. I have gone through some really difficult times and never thought talking to someone would be as beneficial as it has been. One of the ways MIA is set apart from and is different than other places, is the holistic approach to treatment. I see a physician, a therapist, and have group discussions several times a week. I have never been to a place that provided all the aspects of care that I need in one place which is why I know MIA is the best.

I have been going to Dr.Peterson for almost two years now and he's a amazing doctor who really does care about your sobriety and you, him and his wife Jen have always treated me great and been amazing, recently they changed there name, staff and building, since then I have had nothing but issues, Jen is no longer working in the office and half the people I speak to are out of St Louis and are the most rude disrespectful people who only care about $$$$$$, I have been on my meds with no issues never relapsed always paid, well today the day I'm scheduled for a appointment and out of medicine I'm told out of nowhere that I cannot be seen and won't be seen until I pay 500 and was told I had a outstanding balance which was caused by a misunderstanding when they switched over what I would pay no biggie I pay everytime and told her I would pay more than the 350$ I was suppose to pay but I couldn't pay 500 today so she refused to see me and I'm out of medicine!! This new practice does not care about there patients or sobriety, Dr Peterson and Jen would of never done something like this to me..and its sad they have took over and are ruining Dr.Peterson good reputation now..I'm extremely upset and I will never ever return here thanks to Midwest institute for addiction taking over !!
