Currently one day shy of 37 weeks pregnant with my first and so far have no regrets in choosing AWC. I chose Dr. Doan and she has been very pleasant and kind throughout the course of my visits, and very attentive to my care. On days I can't get in with her I see NP Rachel who is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend visiting her for any checkup, but be warned she is so well liked and always busy spending as much time with each patient as possible she is often running behind. I haven't minded the wait though. She's worth it. The receptionists have always been friendly and helpful, and willing to answer any questions. Any time I've had an after hours question I submitted it through the patient portal online and received a call back the following day. Heck, even the lab tech (contracted through Quest Diagnostics) who was always the one to draw my blood was amazing. So sweet, fast, friendly, and well skilled. Every draw was virtually pain free. I'm honestly puzzled by those leaving the bad reviews because my experience has been the complete opposite of theirs. Then again, my review is based on multiple/regular visits - taking them all into account - instead of being based on a single/isolated visit.

I have mixed emotions about this place because I mostly received excellent care but have co-workers that have experienced total nightmares at this place. My doctor was Florio and he was great, all around great. My doctor during delivery was Doan and I loved her as well. It was my second pregnancy when I went here and my recovery was a lot faster, I credit that to Doan for how she delivered my son who was a very large baby yet I did not tear. I didn't notice any long wait times, I typically scheduled my appointments over my lunch hour and was called back within 10 minutes. The staff was always pleasant. The only personal complaint I have is that they seem to want to do a lot of tests that I didn't feel are necessary. I told my doctor from the first visit that I don't like needles and wouldn't be doing any extra tests besides the glucose. My first pregnancy in California was completely normal, birth was natural without an IV and there were no complications. My doctor said no problem but there were a few occasions where a nurse would call me to do a test and we would argue about it. I didn't do any of the initial blood work. I could tell this annoyed them but I didn't care. I had just had a physical and full work up a few months before I got pregnant. At my first ultrasound the tech told me there wasn't a heart beat yet but that it was normal because I was less than a certain number of weeks. Then a few days later a nurse called me to come in for blood tests to watch my levels because there was no heartbeat and they wanted to make sure my pregnancy was viable. They wanted me to come back a few days in a row and give them blood. I refused and I know it irritated them. I told her there wasn't supposed to be a heartbeat yet, I was constantly nauseous, and it was obvious by my symptoms that my hormones were rising. That was my only beef with the place and I am sure I would have had the same arguments wherever I went so I don't consider it extraordinary or enough to discredit the place. My co-worker had an awful wait time when she went for her PAP and an even worse experience with the person who was supposed to draw her blood there. Apparently the woman working there taking blood has a terrible personality and is very rude to customers. I know my co-worker well enough that I am sure she is telling the truth about this.

My wife Kelly went to Assoc. Women's Care Physicians for all three of her pregnancies. We were very happy with all of the doctors at AWCP! We also appreciate the fact that they are chiropractic friendly with their pregnant moms :) Thanks for the great care, Dr. Adam Jameson and Kelly Jameson

My Doctor at this facility is Dr. Laura Doan Let me tell you shes amazing! Fastest and easiest pap I have ever had! Most Doctors pinch the bejesus out of me with the speculum but Dr Doan was Quick efficient and gentle in her exam. I highly recommend this place for anyone needing a kind and courteous OB/GYN

I've been going here for almost 10 yrs and have not really had any major issues or complaints until recently. I do agree with everyone that the wait time is unbelievable. I just figured that all Dr.'s offices are like this anymore. I had to change to another place because they don't accept medicaid. I also get a feeling that their primary interest is mainly money. I remember waiting for 2.5 hours only for the Dr. to tell me that yes, I'm going to be scheduled for a procedure and that they will call me for details. That's it! Then I had to call because they didn't call me. When I first started going years ago, it wasn't like that but things have changed.
